Scout is young, so I think there should be some discretion in what Scout is told about the rape cae, because, simply said, there are some things children don't need to know. If she knows all the details of the case, it could totally change her perception on life, people and everything else she knwe prior to the case.
P.S. I don't know if you'll see this mysterious mygen logo thats in the corner!

I think she knows so much already there int a pot in trying to keep it from her. The things she comes up with on her own are probably far worse than the truth!..Also the things she hears around town are going to be way worse than whats actualy going on.
I disagree i think that atticus should be completely open just confusing oh and no mygen logo
Do kids really need to know everything that their parents do? It's dangerous to start doling out information--especially if she doesn't understand. She clearly doesn't by the way. That's why its ok for Atticus to say that rape is "forced carnal knowledge of a woman without consent."
Oh never mind i found the mygen logo...that is kinda weird do do do do do do do do
i disagree, sorry, lol i think it is ok for scout to know a little about the case, the way atticus described it was perfect. Its not like she actually understood what he said, and it isn't like he gave her the grusom detains, just gave it straight up. :)
